Our story with

TIBETAN CHILDREN'S VILLAGE

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the generous donors who made this first achievement possible. We would like to clarify that all expenses related to this project, including the trip to India, logistics, etc., were entirely funded from our personal resources, with 100% of the donations going directly to the school.

IT ALL STARTED IN 2010

During a trip to the Himalayas, accompanied by a close friend, I set out to climb my first 4,500-meter peak. On the way, we discovered McLeod Ganj, a small village north of Dharamsala, a spiritual and cultural center where the Dalai Lama lives.

It was there, during a hike to acclimatize, that we stumbled upon a school nestled in the forest: the Tibetan Children's Village (TCV). A school where nearly 1,000 Tibetan refugee children live and study, living in modest conditions but imbued with a remarkable spirit and respect for others.

Since then, seven trips have followed, often with friends, but especially one with my daughter, Clara!

Together, we raised funds to help with the maintenance and equipment of the site, provided computer equipment and introduced access to robotics education... And in 2025, a new milestone was reached!

IN 2024, AESF COMES TO LIFE

In addition to renovating equipment and facilities in France, Europe, Namibia and India, we will for the first time offer a school exchange to Tibetan students from TCV and French students from Lycée Sacré-Cœur La Salle d'Angers, as part of a joint educational project.

In 2023, we raised funds, which were handed over in full to the Tibetan Children Village school. These donations enabled us to finance the repair and purchase of equipment for this school, which accommodates nearly 800 students, from kindergarten to high school.
